An outcome of my
published book The Many Faces of Abuse the Emotional Abuse of High
Functioning Women was followed by several chapters "Courts
Beware" in many other published books. The notoriety of the case of
Amber Heard and Johnny Depp has brought forth a personality disorder one which
has not received much recognition-the borderline personality disorder (BPD). How do
we diagnosis people who are not on our clinical couches? Amber's
tears Crocodile tears! Real or fake? Narcissism has become a household
term everyone knows when they meet one because all they do is talk about
themselves. The term was used in court hearing of Shannon Curry, PsyD, a
clinical forensic psychologist where they met for 12 hours that Amber allegedly
was a borderline histrionic. This has brought forth the borderline personality
much neglected in the media. One distinction is the narcissist will spend rest
of their lives trying to prove they have a special sense of existence. The
special child of God, whereas the borderline could care less about specialness
but more about trying to prove they exist as a thing in itself.
"I'll do anything just don't abandoned me!" Patients with
high-conflict personalities are typically narcissistic, borderline,
and/or sociopaths. These are master manipulators. Most prevalent
characteristic is refusal to cooperate, are deviant, play victim card and often
spend the rest of their lives retaliating, getting even, revenging to get back
even at the expense of children, money of the sacrificial self-e.g.
the "dead beat dad!"
